★ ABILITIES

<|| Camouflage - Be it in the arctic, the forest or the Ridge, the vienak can merge with their surroundings and are very good in disguising themselves, lowering the general attack accuracy in 20%. Stories are told that in the Ridge, this creatures create a sandstorm, to hide their trails and hide themselves.
<|| Crunch - A vienak's sharp fangs can cut through flesh like butter, and they usually attack their prey on the jugular and crunch their necks for an easy kill.
<|| Slice - In a perfectly landed attack, a vienak's long, sharp claws can cause deep cuts and injuries. Treat immediately or as soon as possible, since there's a high infection risk.
<|| Pounce - The vienak's strong hind legs can give it an impulse and make it possible for it to jump up to 3 meters. Stories are told that you should never fly low when over their natural habitat - you never know when there's one preparing to pounce you and knock you mid-flight. All caution is advised.

Also referred to as "quick death", the vienak are commonly found in the deep sections of Angura forest and inside the tunnels in Mana Ridge, which they use as their nests. Many careless explorer's lives have come to an end when coming across this creatures unprepared, never to be found again.

Vienak usually hunts either alone or in small packs or 2-3 individuals, bringing the food back to the nest to feed the pups and elders in the end of the day. They form big patriarchal packs, and one nest can contain up to 20 or more individuals. Their litters usually consist in 2 to 4 pups, and you should not, under any circumstances, take a pup from their nest. They will find you, and they will kill you.

Vienak also have advanced hearing, picking up any suspicious noise in their surrounding and far from it. This also means their demise - one way to fend off this predators is using high-pitched whistles or noises.
