Description

StarFox Command had cool concepts, they just weren't executed right. an emotional story revolving around Fox and Krystal is something I'd love to see. drama when done right can define your characters. So here's a practice panel of Fox and Krystal having a heart-to-heart chat to begin the blossoming of their character arcs. Fox constantly lives in his father's shadow, so him projecting that onto fearing for Krystal could have worked better than either version of Command's reasoning for him booting her off the team. A lot of people like to argue Krystal doesn't belong, so I thought it was the perfect subject for Krystal's arc. The one place where she truly belonged was destroyed, and so she stood out everywhere, even on Sauria. In fact I think this was already part of her story in Dinosaur Planet. Perhaps the StarFox team gave her some semblance of familial belonging, and with that severed the worst of her skeletons come out of the closet to haunt her again.

Instead of toxic marital drama that simplifies their characters into stereotypes, Fox and Krystal deal with very real trauma present in their lives since their childhoods.
