Wreck it Ralph and all related themes (c) - DisneySammiie (c) -
I'm so sorry this took so long I've been putting to many things aside, and finishing up requests is one of them. But it's hard NOT to multitask when you've been working on your own artwork yourself along with requests. ANYWAY, hope you like it, =Chesshii !
Enjoy~

Ralph does not look like himself.....I LOVE IT! Especially in this drawing. He looks so 'proper'. It is VERY fitting for him.

Thanks~ I've noticed how some of these fangirls like to see their man in a form more radiant than how they normally are, and so I attempted to make him a little more formal and charming than how someone would normally see him. : )

If only they invented a button that let me see a message before I posted it. A chance to view is prior to posting it. A "preview", as it were. But that's the sort of magic that can never exist . . . . .

Ah... you do know there is a 'preview' button right next to where it says 'submit comment' on the right hand side, right? That lets you see your emoticon before you post it.

I also pull doors that say push and almost run into walls while reading books or listening to my iPod.

I do the thing with pulling instead of pushing doors, too. As for running into the walls, ya gotta be careful with that. Don't want ya to hurt yourself.

I'm proud to say I have yet to trip on stairs going down, or to fall down escalators, or to fall down an open elevator shaft. But I've bumped into a few columns, doors, and walls. Sometimes I think there should be an invisible sprite following me with a trombone on standby to play the Wah Wah music.

Well, it's good to know those things haven't happened. I mean, it could be a lot worse right? Are you sure your okay with contacts? Because it sounds like you might want to just wear glasses if it helps any better.

Trust me; I bumped into plenty of things with glasses. And I love having contacts; no weird curvatures to my field of vision, no waiting 10 hours for my glasses to adjust to light, only to wait another 10 hours for them to adjust to being indoors again, and no worries when I go to see movies in 3D. One of the many traits I find I share with Ralph is our mutual clumsiness. But he's not afraid to climb the tree when he knows what he wants is at the top, whereas I spend so much time scared of the pain from falling down that I never get around to climbing up.

Yay! I can't wait to dive back in! I think last we left your OC had just run off from Niceland to Grand Central Station, where Ralph followed her and picked her up to bring her back like a kitten. Or maybe that was just my weird interpretation

.... okay, NOW I HAVE TO DRAW THAT. That sounds adorable, just to see what that would be like, because compared to him I probably weigh like 1/6th of his body weight, so he would just be suspending my by the collar of my jacket. So far, I'm likin' your weird interpretation.

I've tried figuring out size and height ratios of him to me, too. The key is remembering he is 9 feet tall. It sounds massive, but when you put it in real life it's not too terribly huge. My trick is to guestimate the heights of things in my environment (the ceiling in certain rooms, doors to certain buildings, etc) and think to myself "hey, if I come up to here on this and it's x feet tall, then Ralph must be right about there in comparison." If that helps at all.

I've actually tried that before, like in the height of certain doorways or from the bottom up to the ceiling I kept thinking of where he would be in size with certain objects. Like my dog for example, would probably be almost more than half as tall as Vanellope, then I realize, "oh my god, she's like the size of a nicelander." And then I remember that Gene is the size of a bulldog, his size is only 2%. Then, I look at them and compare them to how tall Ralph is, and I'm thinking that they are at least under two feet tall. So imagine two nicelanders standing on top of each other, and Qbert is on the very top. And with that, that would be the size of a regular human being. It's a lot to think about...

DisneyThorn92 In reply to Skykawa [2013-11-26 13:45:39 +0000 UTC]
Vanellope's not quite as short as the Nicelanders. She's just a little bit shorter than Felix, who is himself a head or so taller than the Nicelanders.
I wish there was someone with average height to use in reference to everyone. But all the humanoid characters are either between 7 and 9 feet tall or between 2 and 4 feet tall.

Skykawa In reply to DisneyThorn92 [2013-11-27 03:58:16 +0000 UTC]
...now that I think about that, it would be kind of funny to see what it would be like if Vanellope was comparing her height to 'Big Gene'. She would probably be laughing and teasing him about it.
Now that would help a lot, so I wouldn't feel so short when comparing the height differences between my self and the other characters. I've actually slacked off in my Woodshop class to use one of the tape measures to compare height difference with a Wreck it Ralph chart I saved off Google.

lol, I could totally see Vanellope using Gene as an arm rest, or a table with his flat head
I feel short whenever I compare myself to anybody, real or fictional. But the best I can gauge, I'm about a head or two taller than Felix and Vanellope, but that same height shorter than Ralph and Calhoun.

lol, and now I add that to my list of 'things to draw'. That's just pure adorableness.
That happens with me almost every day. Pretty much everyone I know is taller than me, except my grandmother. She's 4'11, so I feel tall when I'm standing next to her. If a friend is teasing me about how short I am compared to them, I'd just grab a chair and stand on it looking down at them and I literally say, "Who's the short one, now?"

When I was in elementary school, I was always the smallest kid. I would feel thrilled when I saw a new kid who was shorter than me. Even now, I can't help but feel an itty bit proud when I find myself taller than teachers at school, or my older sister (though not by much). My dad still calls us Munchkins
