Dust, an Elysian tail is one of the best games I've ever played. I love its many characters and the way they all interact with each other. One of the first things I noticed about Ahrah (the blue sword) was how he looked like a keyblade, from the Kingdom Hearts series. This was easily a plus for a game that was already awesome.I spent more time on this than I planned. I was going to use a simple cartoon look for the colors, but I got carried away with the shadowing. I wanted to try to tell a story with expressions. I had the most fun drawing Fidget (the little bat thing). I'm hoping it obvious she couldn't care less. Sora (the guy in red) was the trickiest. His design was just too complicated, too many details to keep track of. It'll be a while before I draw him again.

I love KH and Dust... but Dust I only got into last year, while KH has been a favourite of mine for a long time.

I always thought dust would hold the blade exactly the other way around...
(... still the pointy/sharp end away from him, I meant the other axis).
While sora is hitting with the key-teeth, Dust is hitting with the smooth blade first, as far as I noticed within the game.
I always found it interesting, that he would hold the blade underhand the whole time when not in fight... Best way to die when handling a sword in my opinion^^ Knifes are a different matter, though...

I think Dust only really uses the teeth end to grab enemies and launch them downward. I was mostly just going with what was easiest to draw. Arhah was the last thing I did and I just wanted it done, lol.
