Description It's actually finished for more than two months, now, except for the final touch. But whenever I thought of taking the final shot (in daylight, for even lighting), it was already too late. *sigh* Anyway, here's the final result, eventually.

----------------------

What COULD have happened, any resemblance to living persons is completely accidental

It's not that Sarah WANTS to cheat. But if she is ABLE to see, she sooner or later inevitably has to open an eye. Now, after she peeked between the bandana and her nose two times (while the hanky was tied only as a band over her eyes, by Tessa), Lisa was fed up. She went up into her bedroom and soon came back with a long, black scarf in her hand. It was one of her favourite scarves, made up of opaque heavy silk. You could say from Sarah's face that she knew exactly what it is intended for, as she watched Lisa folding the scarf into a very wide band - so wide that it buckled while being held on her flat palms. Sarah's glance followed Lisa walking past and behind her, both girls' eyes fixed on the scarf in Lisa's hands. Lisa to properly prepare the scarf, and Sarah imagining how the scarf would feel like. She caught herself thinking if she might have a chance to see through (it looks quite thin and tied single layer, she might see some light) or peek underneath it, again. If it will be sloppily tied like the bandana by her new college friend, before, there would be no problem to peek, at all. However, this time her sister Lisa is in charge and judging from her preparations, it might become more difficult this time.

(flashback) Sarah already feels some tingles in her stomach, when she thinks about the picture in Lisa's secret shoe box, hidden under her bed, which she found earlier this year. Actually, she only saw the stack's topmost shot that shows her sister (Sarah can clearly tell from her tattoo) from behind, having a red bandana tightly double knotted in the nape of her neck.

Sarah's jaw dropped and she became very curious about the other photos. But of course, in this moment the door opened and after realizing the situation, Lisa quickly intervened, stepping in and taking back her box, just before Sarah could dig any deeper. She pretended to be annoyed that her sister snoops through her private stuff. But Sarah could see her blush and as they've always been very close sisters that shared everything, she know it was mock. So, when Sarah enquired more information of Lisa, the latter just waved aside and with a simpering grin said something about some "special games" she plays with her boyfriend Tom. And when Sarah's "mature" enough, she MIGHT have a look at them. Pah, Lisa is only 2 years older and mimics the snob, Sarah thought. "Ok, in a few months I turn 18 and as a gift, I wish you to show me the other photos and introduce me to your 'special games'.", Sarah demanded. "Hmmmm, we'll see", Lisa answered with a wink.

To be continued ... maybe

Ah, so it came up with a story - how nice

It's impressive how much details You can put onto a paper with nothing but pencils. It's really quite close to a black and white photo, in my opinion. I really hope for You to find more time for drawing

Yes, my first modest try of it. But probably my last, since (almost) no one seems to recognize it at all.

Thank you for your statement on the drawing. I have to share my time between pencil drawing for this site, private commissions for family and friends and trying more and more digital painting. Maybe I should start simple, with b/w paintings.
But with Sai it seems to be possible to just implement what is in my mind. I go through dA to find good styles to learn from and actually just found an example that implemented just what I had in mind. Look at the this:

That is the way of shading I want to achieve, for the whole painting. But a little less manga and more lifelike.

I guess I saw the original pic somewhere in the web...

The result (not the final? - I read the last sentence in the description) is awesome!

Thank you J! Indeed, I had to take the inspiration from the web. Β

The drawing is final. The "story" not necessarily. My first try of some kind of writing (in English). But there's no feedback on it, at all. So I'm not sure if anyone read it, at all. Not to talk about liking. But no problem, it was just an idea to link two pictures together.

Yes! I meant that photo!
About feedback here in DA:Β most of people here acknowledge colorful pictures; I experienced that - many people asked: "can you draw this in color?", "could I color your b/w drawing?". Human eyeΒ / brain is accustomed to see world in true taints. Due same thing stories posted here in DA are not doomed to success as pictures - to readΒ a story involves much more time than quick peek at a picture.
But don't discourage yourself - just do what you want to do and get pleasure out of that.

Yes, that's a good attitude! But I mean, if no one reads it, I can as well keep it for myself.

Regarding the coloured drawing: I see what you mean. As greyscale or lineart drawings are usually an interim step to a coloured drawing, I can also understand people asking if there will be a coloured version. And some people like I are a little more gifted to color something than drawing the lineart themself, therefore they ask good artists like you to use your work as basis. Well, I remember having asked you the same question, guess you wanted to point that out.

Last, but very much not least, thank you very much for faving my latest pieces. It makes me very happy and feel acknowledged. Β
