Here is a little redesign I did for Elita-1. I saw a few problems with her, even though she was my first Infusion design. Plus, there were a few things I wanted to do with her transformation scheme, so I did them. Here's what I did.- Gave her a better umbrella (and opened it)
- Gave her Heterochromia and more detailed eyes.
- Replaced the dark pink with a merlot red color.
- Hid her rocket launchers and her shotgun (Which is now more of an Uzi)
- Gave her a gold Autobot symbol and a more Snow Villiers-esque trenchcoat.
- Reworked the transformation so the cab turns inside out to form the legs, the front wheels become the knees, the back wheels become a holster for the umbrella-gun, and the tail lights become the collar of the coat.
- Fixed the proportions.

I can see that. That would've made the figure less of a shell former.

Well, maybe they could have made him a shellformer, but had his backback collapse into his body, and made his torso expand over the folded mass to hide any remains of the cab.

That can work. Perhaps if they have another go at Galvatron they can do that.

Yeah but still at least they did their best to make it work as much as possible due to how the design doesn't have much vehicle parts showing in robot mode in AOE.

Yeah that's true. The same can't be said for Leader Prime. Evasion Mode did better than that.

To be fair the Evasion mode Optimus design did have vehicle parts on his robot mode too.

True. But a great deal of that engineering could have been used to boost the overall appearance of the leader without making it any more complicated than Grimlock.

Well, one day I was thinking "Hey, Optimus has been a car in the Alternity lines. What if I made him so he could turn into a robot that would be as tall as he would be if he still turned into a truck?)

Yeah. So I decided to make a blue alt mode, with 90% of the exterior (with the exception of 2 of the doors and the front windshield) contributing to the legs, and the interior (including the engine components) and the chassis becoming upper body, but the whole upper body (including the thighs) would Β widen to avoid looking anorexic.
