I finally have a picture of Raven to upload! Yay!I'd wanted to do Raven for years but I was too self conscious to do her for various reasons. Finally I decided to do her, ironically enough when this cosplay was getting trendy. But I'm really proud of this costume, the cape is comfy and I learned a lot more about contouring and face makeup. I'm really happy how it turned out.

Oh yeah! I can imitate Raven's voice pretty well and I had a starfire and Terra with me, we had TONS of fun, and people went nuts over our costumes

The cape is costume suede in navy from joanns. I bought 5 yards just in case. I used a costume cape I own for reference on how long and how full I wanted the cape to be at the end. It's pretty easy to find a hood tutorial online and modify it to have a point. Capes themselves are pretty easy to make, they're just a lot of fabric.

How much fabric did you actually end up using?

Most of it. I didn't line it. I tried to make the cape as full as possible and inserted the 2 major pieces of scrap fabric on the bottom to make it fuller.
I should also mention I had a friend make a quick pattern for my shoulders so it would hang nicely and we cut it into 4 basic pieces to fit that.
