This is so cool initially I was not so impressed by Viktor Prime, but I'm willing to give New Viktor a chance. I also did something like this for my OC, I initially made two portraits of my Original True Tail OC, Rohan, but I figured if I'm giving him Fire Powers, I should use the other three Elements.

Interesting in the old school true tail doh li and viktor were in there mid twenties but in the new school now doh li and victor are in there early teen age like middle schoolers

Doh-Li is a kirin, a creature from asian folklore that is half dragon and half deer.

I wanna ask about one of the more subtle changes: When Melody's design was first revealed, her dress had a mark that went up to her belt, and now that mark's been shortened by half its original length. I take it that was a complaint from executives while you were first pitching the series?

Actually, it was just a design change. It turned out having the slit that high up caused animating her to be very difficult. By bringing the slit down we could move her dress easier and she just looks plain cuter this way.

Everybody has the same age in this new version? Is kind of weird to see Caleb and Melody in the same bag with victor and Doh-li...

I'm curious, would Viktor and Doh-Li's backstories still be the same as the original versions we read on the site before the change? Or would they be slightly adjusted due to the age change?
In addition, would Brutus and Kanikus's backstories remain the same too, with the exception of a professor role added to their story. I mean, I would still like the idea of Kanikus being a guy that has the long desire to be mortal.

Viktor still comes from a family of pirates and Doh-Li comes from a world class family of healers. Brutus is still a bear knight and Kanikus is still a phoenix with a grouchy temper. However, the mortal thing is not exactly appropriate. Our goal is still to one day get this show on tv, but death is a concept that causes problems with networks. That being said we are certainly going to try and see how far we can push.
