after four years and two suns comes the birth of the first moon. the same model was used for the face as the previous suns but i *tried* to make it smile.medium: pastel

I looked at the sky, it was dark, the moon was behind a cloud, leaving us in the dark.
I moved the clouds, looked behind them, then i came to ruth and there it was, on her canvas.
It's beautiful.It 's the moon.

Sabine's moon is quite beautiful
she lights our night
time sky
silvered blue
full of wisdom
it shows in her gentle smile
She knows we love her moonlight
she knows we dance inside
her light
she listens to our secret tears
lights the shadows
tends the fears
She leads the way to velvet
dreams
gently stardusts
skins and time
she is blue and beautiful
sublime wisdom is in her eyes
It is very strange. I looked at the moon and wrote this poem and your moon took on the characteristics of Ruth.

There seems to be a little less contrast in your moon than your suns. Still haven't figured out what that means to me. The eyes tell the tale for me in this piece. At first they seemed sad to me, but as I look at them more I feel they are just worn, tired. And now they seem full of sincere wisdom. She understands me, and she comforts me, and when I leave, she watches me and guides me from afar. Your work is always comforting and somehow relieves my mind of it's constant worry.
I can see your face
from across the earth
framed in the moon
giving me strength
Calling my name
as some ancient kin
teaching me of time
granted for my growth
Your heart holds mine
if for just a few hours
recalls the gift of love
provides the gift of life

the colors in this image are amazing, the sharp blue is really eye catching and i love the offset of the backround behind the sun. Very nice work sabine, it looks amazing

oh man, this is so pretty! and I'm glad to see it smile a lil bit more *grins at Ruth*. This is a wicked deviation Ruth, and the fact that it's blue makes it even better, since I love blue. Two thumbs up!

she seems private, mellow. i like her lips, ruth, this is a mesmerizing moon it is smiling..as if pleased with how the light curves, shadowing her face...overall, it looks like a sigh-smile..i imagined the lips being coloured as a reflection of the orange light from her 'twin' as it (the sun) sets, to make way for moonlight. pretty
