I was just walking up and down these halls tonight, sort of thinking, sort of looking, talking, sometimes. I turned a corner and way down the hall was a room which seemed to emit sunlight. Intriguing, I thought, since it is nighttime and most of the rooms are softly lit.
But this was so bright, I hurried to see what must be in this room. When I entered I had to shade my eyes against the bright light flooding across my face. When my eyes adjusted, I saw this image and it made me laugh for the sheer happiness within.
I thought I recognized that face for a moment, turned upward, a huge smile. I stayed for a long time, because it was more than the sun and the face. It was intricate lines, delicate circles, an interaction, though she is oblivious, between she and the sun. It sparkled in it's simplicity and I thought I sensed a wish, and I thought I saw just the slightest sparkle of stardust wash across it by the artist's hand.

great vintage look!
If I got a letter in an envelope like this, I'd throw out the letter and hang the envelope on my wall. Heh.
