Secret Santa present for =puritylf4Oh jeez, this took a while haha. Anyway, over at #SonicSecretSantas I got =puritylf4 , and she wanted a pic of Purity. It was hard figuring out what to do since I tend to avoid clichΓ© snowy OMG ITS CHRISTMAS YAY pics. From a generic posed pic it evolved into a pic of Purity putting a star on a tree, and then to this, Purity catching a falling star [science geeks, don't ruin the magic. i'm well aware a real star would probably be 4.00E34 times bigger]. I can honestly say I had loads of fun figuring out the lighting and everything. Hardest part was the hair, but after a while of figuring that out, I just darkened out the furthest parts with a similar colour to that of the BG.

I think you did an excellent job regarding the shading and the coloring style there, I think it's a well thought out gift from your part
I would say that the ring on her outfit is a bit odd to look at, particularly for the way it's shaded. Other than that, I think all's well and looking good! Great work!

Dear God, I cannot get over how much I love your use of lighting and shading here. <3 So natural, yet has a really cool painted look to it. The composition is fairly simple, yet it just works so well. The contrast the shading creates is great, and her calm expression and the way she's posed really just ties it all together. Beautiful job~ <3
