History
History:
Kithood - Pebblekit was born to Sandswirl and Softeyes. Softeyes was told that she wouldn't be able to have kits, so the news of becoming pregnant shocked both of her parents. However, soon after she and her other five siblings were born; only two were breathing (her being one of those). So shocked that the kits were nearly all stillborns, both parents fell into a state of depression, eventually to the point Pebblekit and her brother Ferretkit went to another queen to raise.
Apprenticeship - Pebblepaw had a good apprenticeship. She competed with her brother Ferretpaw on who could run faster and trained as hard as she could to become a good warrior for her clan. It was near the end of her apprenticeship when her true mother and father stepped forward and told them the truth.
Warriorship - It was hard to understand why her mother and father had given her and Ferretstripe away to another queen. She wanted to feel bad, but at the same time felt as though she had been stripped of a true family. The first season of her Warriorhood she spent sulking away, keeping to herself. However, the deputy at the time Willowdew, had seen this. Knowing that Pebblestep had hidden potential, the deputy pushed Pebble harder then most cats. Pebblestep was pretty upset with it, but kept going anyways until some moons later of forgetting about what happened between Sandswirl and Softeyes.
Deputyhood - After the sudden death of Seedstar due to greencough, Willowdew was made Willowstar. Pebblestep was training her first apprentice Heatherpaw; when the new leader chose her as deputy. Most cats had been extremely shocked, some angry. Even her brother Ferretstripe had been pretty upset with it at first since he was already on his third apprentice (though he eventually made up to her over it). However, Willowstar's word was law, which made Pebblestep deputy.
Leadership - It was only a season after being made deputy when Willowstar suddenly vanished. No one knew where they had gone to, but it became clear that Pebblestep would have to become leader. The new deputy was terrified at first, knowing she was not ready, but took the title and received her new lives and new name.
