Description
One of the things I love the most about handplates is the interaction between Asgore and Gaster, Asgore constantly fretting and worrying for Gaster, it almost seeming he knows what's going on, and Gaster trying his best to push everyone, especially the king away for what he believes is their sake. It's all coming to a head now, and I'm wondering if it'll be that they discover him first and Gaster gets put on trial, or if Gaster does something before then...who knows.Please do check out handplates zarla.deviantart.com/ and support with her story!

Wait, if he can't see his face . . . I thought that was an effect of us looking through the past at Gaster. If it's not, would a "lost soul" head indicate that a monster had gained EXP? Now I'm actually confused as to what the firey effect means.

From what I understand, different things effect the soul, murder, bad actions, etc. His soul is lost, and he's murdered in the past, and now more than ever his character is loosing who he is, so much so that his owns friends can recognize he's in trouble.

Gorgeous! The expressions, the lighting/shading effects, and the subject itself are my favorite parts, but everything about this is superb.
I like that you can really zoom into this thing. It always frustrates me a little when I want to get a closer look at a highly detailed painting to study its elements better but can't because the artist put it at a low zoom-in setting.
I also appreciate you posting a speedpaint for this beauty. I sometimes like to view speedpaints to see if I can pick up any useful techniques from artists, so it's nice to have one for a complex picture like this one. Not many people include speedpaints with their work.
I don't think Gaster is going to be around long enough to be discovered, let alone be put on trial, heh.
