He has a really good positioning and your style adds a unique flare to the piece. The only suggestion that I offer is that you should add a bit less detail with the patterns on the wall or make them fade out a bit more. The closer the subject is to you the more details it should have. Your background has more details than the character, so my attention goes to the background first. Also, the bright coloring around his head is distracting at first because the human eye focuses on the lightest and darkest areas before it fill in the mid tones of an object.
