That gif was very helpful   Let me see that it looks like you did the shading first, then colored it.  I do that with some of my paintings.  Amazing work

I've been dabbling with grayscale shading for a while, I still switch between erase-shading and normal painting via layering up though. Grayscale definitely is the fastest method I've tried so far! I'm glad the gif was of some help C:

I've read the title as "the land of NOPE"... well, totally accurate when a big, angry dragon is chasing you

You have captured the movement of the dragon masterfully, highlighting the movement and making the painting all the more realistic. It is a stunning piece of art and I love the way the dragon is depicted, deviating slightly from the conventional dragon designs making it look more regal and fearsome. Amazing.
