A flat colored reference sheet commission for =vtforpedro of her character Yzara!Can you guys tell that I'm really digging these reference commissions? They take a while what with all the feedback that's passed back and forth, but I'm in love with the results. I learn something new every time!

just a question but what size of canvas do you usually use and what type and thickness of brush do you use, for a reference sheet like this?

Looking at how the wings are drawn here, I just now realized what I was doing wrong. No matter what I was never happy with how I was drawing wings.

On a side note, would you mind if I'd include a "profile with wings folded" in my refs aswell? I love the idea and that's a thing that my sheets lack <3

I always include 'reference sheet' in my tag list, so that's probably why. XD

She's the first of her type I've seen. I mean, I've heard of Saurians before, but I've never seen one so... cute and dangerous at the same time. Haha.

Wow. just seriously WOW> sky you do SUCH beautiful work. this reference sheet is amazingly detailed and its obvious work so well with your commissioner i am sure Vtforpedro is thrilled!This character is gorgeous. her colors, personality, horns, and i love her spines and how they extend. also to add the lay out of your reference sheets is so extraordinary. you go in to such great depth about the character with multiple pictures and poses. your line work is amazing i stare it in awe and this whole sheet with my jaw dropped.
