Description Fully shaded sketch commission for P_moss @ FA.

Celshading is MUCH faster to do than the usual way, so I'll be doing it more often for these sketch commissions. This one didn't actually have.. much in the way of celshading though. Tried a few new things and have come up with a way to create hair that I'm satisfied with.

oohh yay another awesome sketch commission! i still don't get how this is just a 'sketch' but its amazing anyhow ^^ i really like the way you have done the water, at the moment I'm thinking of a picture to do with water like that (so you can see into it) but i really haven't had the experience for doing it, but this really inspires me to give it a go ^^ oh and, i just wanted to ask a lil question if you don't mind...at the moment I'm only using GIMP for all my work, and i see all the pros like you have Photoshop CS, so if you were to use GIMP instead of CS wouldn't you be able to come up with this level of of art?

out of curiosity, does the intuos show the pic on the tablet itself, or is it just like every other tablet?

The only tablet that shows the image on the tablet itself is the Wacom Cintiq series (that I know of). Intuos look just like any other tablet.

I think it is well done, since the hair in the water looks soo smooooth
also the whole water reflections, I even see some tree reflections C:

It looks really awesome, but poorly I prefered your older style >.< *hopes you draw mitsuki in you "older" style*
But I love the reflections on the water and the water itselfs <3

Sadly the older sketch-color style takes -waaaaaaaaaaaay- too long to do, and I don't have much time to work on art so I have to compromise. It doesn't mean I won't still apply the more painterly approach to future images, I just have to go with a faster method for the 50+ sketch commissions I have left to do. :s

Wow. This is absolutely stunning! You did a fantastic job on the hair. It looks very realistic, I think you deserve to be satisfied with it! xD
Your water effects are also spectacular. I could never figure how to do water and reflections that well, but it looks like to nailed it! Man... I'm just impressed with the realism in this, even though most of it isn't meant to really be 'realistic.'
Maybe I'll be as good as this... someday. x3
