Edit: Groups! I appreciate your interest in this picture, but it is a much older one, and I don't do much Sonic fan art anymore!Yay. More art.
This is more of a practicing poses picture than it is a couple picture, but if you want to look at it that way, its fine with me. X3 Based off of the scene in Sonic Adventure 2 where he saves Rouge before the bomb goes off.
I don't like the back of Shadow's foot (You should know which foot im talking about.) I had NO Reference to what the backs look like, so i just did what i could. Sorry. ^-^;

Nicely done with the poses. I also like the glow that you gave from the emerald. The coloring is well done too. I do agree about the back of the shoes thing. I also thought his eyes could use a little improvement as well. Rouge came out pretty well though, and the lineart is ok. Shadow looks evil with his expression though. Niiiice poses! I agree on Shadow's one foot as well, it looks really... odd.
I'd like to see you use some other effects instead of lens flares, though. Otherwise, it's pwetty.

Try some pretty colors and color doding on the emerald to make it look shiny.

I'm not such a big supporter of that couple... but you did quite a good job on this pic! the overall pose looks great and I like that style of lineart... but just a little hint, you forgot to color shadow's ears
