I drew a few of my characters as wings of fire dragons because I have art block. Anyway, yeah. I just drew them as whatever dragon race or hybrid fit their vibe the best.

Daerius (Zog) of course had to be an abomination of three different kinds of dragons (it’s the closest thing to him being genetically modified like he is in his original story). Seawing is only distant heritage though. Just a few bioluminescent scales down his side to match his cybernetics his human form has. Also- he gets NONE of the cool perks of all of his genetics. No frost or fire breath of Icewings and Nightwings and no ability to breathe underwater lmao. He considers himself defective, so he’s pretty much built his abilities around tech and mind games. He often likes to deceive people into thinking that he does have both frost breath and nightwing flame. To makeup for a lack of elemental ability though, he designed a ‘battery’ system that he uses to electrocute others during combat.

Dauson physically looks much more like a Sandwing than a Skywing, however, his superheated flame, huge wings, and lack of a tail barb give away his Skywing heritage. He’s a larger dragon with a well-toned build and is in love with the sky (much like his human form who is a pilot). Losing his ability to fly would shatter his will, to say the least.

Killswitch (Vivian) is a pure Nightwing, but she has striking silver eyes. She’s a skilled bounty hunter who often uses the cover of dark as camouflage and either a blade or Sandwing venom to dispatch victims.

Olluv is mostly Icewing, not having inherited the venom of Rainwings and having the notorious ice breath. He also has a slight fluctuating grey and green tinge to his scales at times. His color range is very short, mainly kept within a grey/green scale though. (Olluv is actually not a human in his og story, he’s a gonek alien. Just to clarify). Also my headcanon for Icewings is that they have fur because I genuinely don’t understand why they wouldn’t??
