Happy Kirby Day! (I don't know, Kirby Trip Deluxe came out, and I just assumed--)It took a long while, but I've finally gotten it fixed up and completed. I bring to you the third installment of Spirits Excel, the final part of episode 1, "Departure".
Some more new stuff to take notice of, I've decided to use these new templates for text-boxes. I would hope this way it's easier to discern who's talking and who isn't. I'll be sticking with this type of text-boxes for a long while. As for episode 2, it will be coming later on after finishing a couple of filler episodes that will be taking place after this one. If anyone happens to run into any bugs or issues, or even small mistakes, please let me know. I welcome any and all criticism, so please don't forget to comment! Now, enjoy!
After a grueling chase through the forest, Kombo and Trevor run into a dangerous, fire-breathing beast! Will Kombo survive this confrontation? Or will this young man's story end before it even got to start?!

Hmmm. I don't trust that dragon entity. I can't trust anyone who asks for you to abandon all morality. He requires an "icy heart" incapable of compassion or mercy. And with something like that, he plans to destroy darkness!? Sounds contradictory to me! It seems to me like he just wants a useful tool to control, and he's thinking Kombo is a good candidate. I think Kombo might've made a pact with the Devil here.
Great job with this! The first part was impressive enough already, but with each part you've just gotten better and better. I love all the character expressions. The beginning scene with that mysterious dragon was my favorite.
It's sad that he has to leave all his friends behind, but I seriously can't wait for Kombo to finally reach the city! He's got a lot of growing to do before he becomes a star hero

So this part's the best among the three, storywise, character-wise, dialogue-wise, and... "Music choice-wise" too. I really enjoyed the development, and completly unexpected events. Can't wait for next episode, which will hopefully start with the marvelous opening you made for the show.
In any case... Part 3 of Spirits Excel! is out, which means that i can FINALLY start workin' on that article I've been willing to do for so long. Frickin' dang it. Speaking of which I'll be sure to warn you when it's done, I'm starting writting... NOW!

Oh really? Well if you started with Wars I suggest you watch the other series (which are before Wars, and certainly as interesting, if not more), considering how awesome the whole thing is. Oh and my fav character would be Kojou Asuka and her LBX Vampire Cat. Hikaru's awesome, but... Vampire Cat wins it all. you need to see it in action really

Methinks Kombo needs a breathmint. That fire lion was utterly repulsed with what came outta his mouth.

Watching it left me with a couple questions; mostly related to the little Exposition Serpent at the start. Mr. Heightened Senses?? Exposition serpent??? Whatever meng, you know what I'm tawkin' 'bowt.
Moreso WHO is it? WHAT is it? What does it want? Why is it picking Kombo? Naturally, it's ominous look and relatively bleak description of what he says Kombo may become due to its influence doesn't paint the thing in a positive light. Never judge a book by it's cover though, I say.
Quite a bit of feels, and I felt in my gut that, after the oratory Kombo gave about how tight he is with Rennie, I didn't even feel it. I KNEW that, somehow, Rennie was gonna go along, but I wasn't sure until the whole "Be careful you two" comment was dropped.
Naturally, the stinger at the end seems to guarantee action. People flying towards airships sounds like there's gonna be explosions. And facepunching.
So now we're gonna have a three-man band (I presume) of Rennie, Kombo and Sundine. WHAT SHENANIGANS WILL THEY GET UP TO!?!?
