This seems like it could have been concept art for The Lost World (1995) by Michael Crichton. I don't know why, I'm just intrigued by the Carnotaurus' appearance in the book.  

Anyway, this (and all of your art) is amazing! Keep up the great work!

oh wow. really love the lighting in this pic. its really awesome all round. just wondering, but do you use a scales brush for the skin? if so did you make it or download it? i tried to make a scales brush for my dino art but it just looked like they had bubbles on their skin XD.

thanks, yeah i made a scales brush it does look a bit flat but not too bad. i also use a skin line pattern on just about everything which is just a few loose crosshatches like on your hands, its handy for getting a quick detail

ah! thankyou so much. yeah i've been told my dinos look too airbrushed and i need more texture to them, so i think i'll make a better scales brush. thankyou again^^
