aNYWAY with the whole transition I need to update my characters to look more original, starting with my stabby child! I changed the powers and personality a bit since she was a huge Mary Sue beforeΒ

*Ex-Queen, no, QUEEN Lustre (she refused to give up her noble title) bonked her head on the cliff wall. Since when was imprisonment suitable for a dragon of her rank? Death was preferred.*
*The Queen shot a look at... whoever that blue and white dragon was. Was it Sprite? That sounded correct. Either way, that idiot of a dragon claimed he could read minds. But the Queen knew that was impossible. Dragons didn't give off brain waves. The dragoness considered that maybe only SHE didn't, which might explain why the pest couldn't accurately predict her next move. This gave her an advantage in the previous fight, as well as her slippery, rock-like scales. She was tough to bring down, but she couldn't swim. Ugh.*

*The Queen let out a soft, frustrated hiss. She wanted to roar, to let these dragons know her power. She wanted to tear them to shreds like she did with those who betrayed her in the North Palace. She wanted to see their gold spill from their veins. These dragons needed to die.*

Also the whole gold thing, I made that up real quick as a substitute for blood with these gem dragons. It doesn't have to be canon I just thought it sounded cool.

Hair (or fur?) is the worst thing EVER to draw, no doubt. That's why none of my main characters have any ;3

Sketching is great, and it always turns out better than the final drawing. Which is why I just clean up the sketch instead of relining everything haha

Allot of the times I do like the sketch more than the lineart heh.

I guess the trick is to not worry about the final product so much, which is what happens during e sketch.
