That is very cool. I don't know how you do your shading / highlighting, but if you want it really smooth you can blur it a little. What I do is I put the shading on a new layer that has a layer mask of the shape, then when I have made my shading I can blur it as much as I want without disturbing the picture beneath. I'm sure there are better ways though, I don't shade too often
