Personality: Skyward is an intelligent young mare who excels exceptionally in art, writing, and history. The mare is a stickler for rules which, for the most part, works to her advantage, not allowing herself to to be persuaded by her fellow classmates to take part in their less approved activities. Being such a studious and docile pony often leads her to stress out exceptionally. She often has a hard time coping and will completely break down into involuntary tears. The cream unicorn is ashamed of this fact and searches for ways to keep her stress under control.

Her love for literature and history, however, are most defiantly exceeded by her obsession with art. Its elegance and beauty captivates her and she can spend hours critiquing and picking apart a piece. But above everything else her love and urge to create seem to leak into every aspect of her life. The hours of practice and attention to detail help drive her onwards towards her dream of becoming an art professor.

Especially to those she is unfamiliar with, Skyward is very quiet and respectful. Dipping her head low when talking which, to her, seems the polite thing to do in order to make a good first impression. Her friends think otherwise, often placing the gesture as cowering. The involuntary raise in her voice doesn't help disprove her friends accusations either.

Though shy when first acquainted, Skyward is actually a very bouncy and random pony. Much to her friends and family’s confusion the unicorn frequently talks to herself when working through a problem, adding clarity to her thoughts, or to just fill the silence.
