Well, Skyla is actually my very first Sonic Character. When I first designed her, she was a Grey Wolf.
Then I redesigned her like 5 times as wolf, once as a bird, once as a fox, then I changed her design to a hedgehog
Her hedgehog design lasted the longest I think, and the most I've ever redesigned her. I redesigned her a LOT as a hedgehog, and eventually, I designed her into a cat which is this design!

Okay, this has been on my mind and I feel I need to get this out....
Who do you consider your main? Skyla or Veda?

I don't draw Ari as much, but she's definitely one of my main
Veda and Ari have more story than Skyla, and definitely more meaning to my story.
Skyla is pretty much just a designed character with personality, likes, dislikes, etc. Just no story purpose yet
Out of the three Ari would probably be my main cause I think she has more purpose to the story
Veda would probably be second because she kind of connects with Ari and I love her design
And Skyla probably third. She used to be my main and was my very first character, but I've created other characters that kinda take the spot.
But I love all my characters and those 3 equally, I just feel some are more main than others for curtain reasons.

One cool thing that might worth noting is I'm seeing a lot of connections between Skyla & Veda in comparison to Sonic & Shadow.Let me explain:
You have considered Skyla your main for a LONG time as SEGA considers Sonic the main character. But for some reason, neither really exactly have much of a backstory. (I'm mean, seriously, what's Sonic's story before Sonic the Hedgehog for the SEGA genesis?) But despite that little fact, that hasn't stopped Sonic from taking center stage for most of his games. (Granted there are a SMALL number of exceptions.) You can treat Skyla in a similar manner if you wish. I mean as Sonic has gone through alot of adventures filled with mystery(i.e. Sonic adventure 1, 2, Unleashed, etc.), but these mysteries don't really have much connection with Sonic himself or his past. He's just an outsider uncovering and solving the mystery while getting an adventure out of the ordeal. Would you say Skyla might serve as an outside solution to the main plot's dilemma involving Ari and Veda? (I mean this is just an observation followed by an idea. I ain't your boss, do what pleases you.)
Then on the other hand we have Veda the Wolf: an anti-social, serious, and complex character with a elaborate backstory to further drive her mysterious nature. (Short of a little edginess, this girl is starting to remind me of a certain black hedgehog if you catch my drift.) Shadow never really has made much of a personality (though I argue even he has his moments) but he has one HECK of a backstory (which might be the number one reason he is my favorite.) If you don't believe me, I can point out that it FULLY took, not ONE, but TWO Sonic games to cover Shadow's story arc. (I mean, can you name any official sonic character that has an elaborate backstory as Shadow's? Because I can't think of one.) And this is what kind of vibe Veda is giving me, that mysterious character who holds a lot on her shoulders. Maybe, just maybe, would it be kind of cool if Skyla and Veda hold some kind of rivalry much like Sonic Shadow? (Again, observation and idea.)

And the thing about Sonic being the main character without much backstory... I honestly never thought of that for Skyla, but now I do consider it.
And yeah Shadow definitely has a lot of backstory, but not as much personality.
Kinda same with Veda
But a rivalry between Veda and Skyla peaked my interests since I haven't really figured out a connection between the two, and now I may have an idea.
