Description This is a photograph I took before noon when the ice barely started to melt. It might not look like much, but the icicles could easily measure over a foot.

What makes this picture interesting is how ice like this is not seen every day. The last time it had iced over the city I live in was 5 years ago, but it was half as bad. (San Antonio is always hot and humid where winter weather could easily average to about 70 degrees.)

This freeze was absolutely freaky, wasn't it? I never expected to see icicles in San Antonio.
