Description I'm currently trying to learn myself PHP in preparation of the web design/development course I'm doing this year at University, and it's been six years since I touched something remotely similar to programming (I know a bit of XHTML, CSS but that's not programming. D: ).

I had a nice book on Safari Online all loaded up, and then ... nothing. I read several sentences without them even registering. So I walked the dog, made myself a cappucino, ate a sandwich, ate a chocolate bar, drank a huge glass of water while feebly trying to understand the book before I said "fuck it." and loaded up Photoshop.

This one is for my fellow procrastinators out there.

There's a huge web out there, ready to be explored. Trying to be productive is futile.

Downloading will give you a 2560x1600-file - which will look worse on smaller displays. Feel free to use these links for properly downscaled versions of the wallpaper, hosted on my website.

4:3 monitors: 1024x768 | 1158x864 | 1280x960 | 1400x1050 | 1600x1200 | 2048x1536

16:10 monitors: 1280x800 | 1440x900 | 1680x1050 | 1920x1200 | 2560x1600

If you have an alternative resolution (f.ex. those horrid 16:9 pseudo-TV monitors feel free to ask me for a resized image. :3

Procrastinators unite!

... tomorrow.

I get what you mean about "reading and not registering" - seems about 90% of all programming books trigger the syndrome. I only remember a tenth of everything I learned in programming the last 3 years, but that measly tenth enables me to at least understand what's going wrong if something goes wrong... even if I don't know how to solve the problem.

I hate it! I really wish I had the ability to concentrate for more than ten seconds. I'm learning to drive at the moment, and studying the theory is awful because I just tend to drift off whenever I start reading. D:

I think the internet broke my ability to concentrate.

hehehe, when are you taking the driving test? I don't have a license yet either, but that's mainly because it's so expensive. Luckily I got a boyfriend who can drive me around
