Description I drew this by hand but I wanted to see if I could make it look more-or-less exactly like the official artwork for Super Paper Mario.

Bit of a reminder for people who don't remember who Bonechill is: That giant ice-dragon skeleton with a cannon. There are hints that he originally was a Nimbi (Angel in Super Paper Mario) and I wound up sketching out a possible original form.

I was going to make his wings white but I felt that would look bland.

Bonechill proboly got sick of being surrounded by canadians all day, then he snapped. (nimbis look like south park canadians)

Could have made him blue to get white wings

I could had but most Nimbis are yellow in color with differently colored "petal" wings. Since Grambi has rainbow-wings, I wanted to give a slight visual nod to him having the power to contest with the Heavenly Father.

In Dante's Inferno, Satan is described as a massive beast-man with three heads sealed in a block of ice in the deepest part of Hell. Considering Bonechill's name and appearance in the game, I figured that the blue color of his bones, the white bird-like wings, and the overall draconian appearance were signs of not only his corruption but his fall from grace and the weakening as a result of his imprisonment for aeons. Not to mention I saw the character's appearance as a nod in itself to the Bible (specifically the seven-headed dragon identified as Satan in the Book of Revelation) and the Ninth Circle of Hell in Dante's Inferno.

No problem and don't worry, I just overthink ideas and keep wondering and wondering until I reach some explanation.

If I kept up that sort of in-depth interest with other things, then I'd be set for schoolwork.

There were hints? Really? Huh, I must have missed them... Curses, I loved the Underwhere and Overthere, and I love backstories...

It's mostly the wings' shapes and the Tattle.
