This almost reminds me of the greaser dogs from the show Catdog, probably because he's really tall and skinny like lube

Interesting, I'll have to Google that because to be honest I never saw much of that cartoon, I mean I know of it's existence but I was starting to move away from cartoon at that point.

Oh god, Catdog was my favorite cartoon as a kid, only rivaled by ren and stimpy but Catdog was usually on top. It has really quirky animation and character designs, and I love the voice acting. While the show is gross at times, the strange thing is it actually teaches you lessons instead of just having comedy everywhere

I think so too, it certainly is an interesting show. It was popular, but not exceedingly popular like spongebob was when he made his debut.

Spongebob was a great cartoon when it was in the hands of it's real creator, it definitely deserved the fame it was praised for. The REAL spongebob was seasons 1-3 and the movie, it was suppose to have ended after the movie but they couldnt drop Spongebob seeing as that was the point where Rugrats and all the other good nicktoons have left the building and Spongebob was the heavyweight of their entire network now.
If you havent watched spongebob much, I recommend the episodes from seasons 2 and 3 in particular. You'll find some extremely funny quotes

The application of the cartoony style is a strength of this piece along with the colors and the character's pose and expression since they compliment each other nicely.

Why thank you, the lineart is the greyled sketch darkened, cut and pasted into a transparent layer....I made a tutorial if you are interested

It's funny how hands seems to be something I get praised a lot lately, I really never thought about time much till Kyan pointed them out, so I didn't take that much notice. It's always good when someone notices things about your work they you never took much notice.
