I think it looks pretty good! ^^ You have your own style, too, which probably contributes to the image not looking just like the official art.
You did a good job with the color! His eyes look really cool, and he really stands out on the black background like that.

Coloring, shading, and lineart is good.
There are a few areas that could use some improvement though.
First off, the upper part of the arm looks thick while the lower half looks thing. Second, the hand is a little big. Third, the eyes should have a black pupil in the middle.
