But when I saw this picture for the first time, my heart immediately filled with happiness. There's nothing more special than feeling your nephew or niece hug you around the neck or just them telling you, "Love you!"
You did a wonderful job capturing that sweet moment between you and your niece.

Some photos make me feel too much inhibited to voice criticism, that in my case is an opinion because Im only an photography's student.
I felt something very special when I saw this beautiful photo...I felt emotions ranging from tenderness to tears. Is a scene so sincere, so true, so personal, that almost is not a photo...and however is a splendid piece of art, with the grayish-golden- ocher Slairea' own style. It remains a mystery to me, how it is possible to achieve self-portraits as expressive, accurate and timely...I can understand that she has control over her own expressions, but...the expression of little girl is a true gift of the Muses...is a real treasure.
The only vision of this image is a caress for the soul. A campfire for the melancholy. The knowledge that art is, above all, the best way to express feelings, and this work is the reflected of purity in Slairea eyes, that is pristinely reflected in the eye of the viewer.
Slairea: is one of the one of the most beautiful photos I've seen in DA...and the perfect mirror of the qualities of your soul. Congratulations.

it's very important for me to communicate something special, or unique trough my photos. I always try to hide a meaning behind my shots and when the people feel what i feel, i can say i am in paradise..and this pushes me to keep on shooting..
Marta is a gorgeous little girl.. she is my fan#1
So she wanted to be a part of my "photography world"
To making the shot i just said to her "Honey, think how much you love your aunt
and then it came out this lovely pose.. she hugged me and she smiled with closed eyes. Everything came naturally..
I made only one shot... unbelievable!
we have a very strong close "relationship"

Slairea, this is the magic element of your photos: every image is very natural, is a part of your feelings or your real life (as Unconditional love) and is very evident the great affection between you and your niece. Meaby, one of the things that made me adore your photo (besides beautiful and wise) was that it make me to remember to my own dear aunt Lourdes who was like my mom.
