Description
Lavos is the parasitic alien monster that crashed into the earth in 65,000,000 BC, set to suck the life force from the planet. Crashing through the earth's atmosphere and then burying itself deep underground, it fed in hibernation, gaining power, until it could emerge from the surface and wreak havoc in 1999 AD.

I always loved the concept of the antagonist of an RPG being an entity that was always there under the surface, influencing events, while the characters chase down other villains before learning about it.
