I never did posted this sculpture.This model was made years ago it was a model for the Ghast puppet that I wanted to make for some stomata test but I never got around to make the actually thing. This model is about 20 ½ inch tall it took six hours from building it to finish.

In Lovecraft's novel,"Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath" -not published in his lifetime,but found among his papers- the ghasts are described as dwellers in the gulf of nightmare beneath the dreamworld. They live as ghouls on the gugs, but do not scruple to vary their diet with fresh meat from a foolish, unlucky or mad dreamer.
