Again another Lorax fanart and yes I’ll be doing more of it particularly the Once-ler cause it gives me a chance to practice on drawing humans.Here of course He making another Thneed and the Lorax is complaining and warning him about cutting down the trees. And I love the expression i gave Once-ler here

Ps they picked Ed to voice the once-ler because of his "every man" voice. The once ler is meant to symbolize humanity: innocently trying to live the dream but just got carried away to the point of destruction

He wasn't kidding when he described him as slightly annoying. (I could see how, when recalling the book- the Lorax is VERY persistent when it comes to those trees.)

I'm not sure how many more Dr. Seuss books, if any, can be made into full length movies; my mom said they could try Green Eggs and Ham, but I don't think it'd work

Oh gosh, I wondered if they would attempt to adapt that book into a film AGES ago.
When I think about that, I'd have to agree with you: the animated short works on it's own.

Just discovered that there really is a full-length film coming out! I hate to admit, but I have high hopes. Devito as the Lorax? A bit fitting. But hey, anything better than the ultimate insulting Dr. Seuss film, "The Cat in the Hat". I can't believe I saw that film. F*cking regreting it...

I can somehow picture this as being part of the movie.
For some reason I think it would've worked to make Jim Carry voice the Onceler, and Seth Rogen voice the Lorax, they've both done Dr. Seuss movies before.

A Lorax movie has a lot to overcome. Giving an environmental message in a subtle manner without going overbearing about it is no easy task. Though I think it could be pulled off, Suess's movies have been doing well aside from that one Christmas oriented one and that one about that cat. Yes I'm purposely avoiding the names. This'll be a good one, Illumination hasn't made a bad movie yet! Oh wait...

Grinch is ok but it was Cat in the Hat that really got me made. Horton was the best adaption du to it bing animated. I do love thier fisrt film Dispicable Me but thier's always that one chance.
