I was drawing this as a concept of what Lex scale design would look and I just went to town on the detail.I read some books on patterns to get some Idea on this look.

This is one of your detailed coloring pictures yet. It looks really good. Did you also read that if you color scales you should highlight or put shadows on every scale individually. I'm asking that since I saw that you did shade every scale.

It didn't say much about the shading, I just do what I always do. Know where the light soure is going to hit and then do the shading.
