Description      Had to design a book cover for a class, and decided to do my favorite series.

I may re-do the paws if I get a chance- they still bother me. Never really finished them, I'd like to totally redo them.

You know, this is totally more like what Saphira's face looked like following the content the book gave us than the official cover art from the publisher. Fav'd.

I love a full body Saphira a lot.  Book, film, cover art, I've yet to see a Saphira portrayal, still or in motion who wasn't hot.  And she's still hot.

Minor nitpick: I see no claws.  Only when I squint does a small outline of dark hue make itself known.  And they look like stubs.

Eragon looks like a child by her when not looked at directly.  Then he looks like a man when focused on.

Thanks!! I tried to go by her original description in the first book. When I compared it to the actual cover, I was surprised how different the two were!!

Agreed on the claws. I'll go back in at some point.

I have that problem ALL the time dude, everybody wants me to save everything and I just want to want to watch the world burn.  Not really.  I do want to set it on fire a little bit though.

Dem dragon pawzz

Ever actually burn some work that you didn't like? It's kinda bittersweet

Aww.. Well if there was no saving it I guess there was nothing else for it.  At least it gave you some warmth for a while so it had one final job to do.

Fire can be a kind of art, I think?

Sounds kind of like a piro if you say that in public though.  Elements are very interesting in their own right and I think they deserve to be respected as an art form.

Haha, I promise I don't go around setting fire to things. Just campfires on occasion.

I'm more of a water person myself.

That's interesting to think about ones self in terms of an an element of nature.

I guess I could possibly be wind?  I tend to live on flights of fancy and whims.

hey that's really cool looking and the books were really good as well
it was one of the first big book series i read in school

also the background is really pretty but i think you could work on saphiras snout with references of a lizard or bearded dragon

mainly how the snout forms a line like a horse skull or those bull terriors/pedigree dogs, it's only my opinion, but i think it would look better if the top of the head and tip of snout didnt have a direct line connecting them, but more of slight a droop where the brain is like dogs have in their skull formation.

Agreed, especially the first read. The third or fourth times re-rereading it I didn't mind it as much...

Which part didn't you like?

I kinda like that he left a lot unsaid. Well, not really. But if he would've told all of Angela's secrets, I feel like it would've ruined her character a little, since she's so mysterious.
