Description Another old one... It was supposed to be a creature inside a piece of amber, but since I messed up the amber texture (damn difficult to do with a pencil anyway), it looks more like an embryo or something...

This si very cool. I love Biomechanics, and I love Amber, (plus my mane is Amber) I love your shading and how precise every detail is. I find that hard with pencils. They smudge so easily that sharp lines are hard, Excellent job.

i've never seen amber up close so i dunno 'bout the texture, but it looks more like a solid (could just be some random gem or something) than an embryo.
the thing inside sure looks like it could hatch into something dangerous if it IS an embryo...

My personal favorite little thing in this one is the small round thingy hanging from the erm... let's call THAT a collar

you're right, i first thought it was a fetus of death, but it dosen't matter what it's supposed to be, just that it looks awesome, and thats what your art is

great job

Amber or Embryo--and I can still see it as amber very easily actually, I don't really see it resembling the latter--it looks fantastic. There's a lot of really subtle details, very small contrasts that make a world of difference, and then there's that wonderful little 'something' I find in so many of your pictures; not really all machine but not organic until it's just. . .itself. That special little grind-twist to your style reminds me of Giger's works, and I really like it.
