Really big file....

Working on an assignment for Character Design class where I had to take two existing creatures and create a hybrid. I decided to revamp my idea of a Mantis Weasel.
The original idea for a mantis weasel looked like this:

I was not happy with that, so here is a revamped version.

  The mantis weasel is a large creature reaching up to 9 feet tall on it's hind legs. It is a quadruped, but will rise onto its haunches to look intimidating. It runs on all fours and with its two sets of praying mantis like appendages can stab anything in a 360 degree area around it. The front pincers are smaller and shorter to allow the front legs more room. The Mantis weasel cannot fly, but has wings to boost its jumping power and to gently glide. Also it can vibrate them to create a buzzing like noise.
  The species mainly eats foliage and smaller mammals, but can take down larger creatures such as elephants. they are extremely deadly and approaching one is not advised.
  They breed like most mammals, but the female eats the male after impregnated. Males have been seen to fight back and eat the female. The males will sometimes flee after breeding and wait until the female gives birth and then either eat the female and the babies, or rarely will take the babies to raise on his own.
