A salacious grin stretched across her face as Domina raised the mic to her lips. "Kriss baby, you look upset," she said. Giggles filled the pause separating each word. She waited a moment, acting as if she wanted to give a Kriss a chance to speak. Kriss fell for the false lure. Just as she was about to speak, Domina interrupted her. Even though she smiled as she spoke, her tone was unmistakably menacing as she all but spat out her words: "A deal is a deal, so deal with it."

Kriss curled her lip in bitter anger as she looked Domina in the eye. She said nothing as she distracted herself by recalling the situation that had led to this "deal." A chance meeting in the locker room had prompted Gwen to challenge Samantha and Domina, the current tag team champions. They accepted so long as one of them took Samantha's Curtains Fall challenge.

The conditions of her challenge had been straightforward. If Gwen could break out of Curtains Fall, the moniker given to Samantha's sleeper hold, from a seated position, she and Kriss could stipulate the rules for their tag match against them. If Samantha knocked out Gwen, she and Domina would likewise decide the stipulations. Kriss had been worried that they were taking a bad bet when Gwen had accepted it. She had protested to her partner that no wrestler, female or male, had broken her hold. Gwen had convinced her that she could escape. She blamed herself for failing to dissuade her.

The challenge had been arranged for the following week. When the day came the challenge was over almost as soon as it had begun. In less than ten seconds Samantha's muscular arms had deprived Gwen's brain of oxygen, thereby knocking her out. Samantha had maintained her hold for a few seconds even after Gwen had gone limp. Only when Gwen had begun to convulse and drool did she release her.

Presently as Kriss listened to Domina's taunts she felt a pang of guilty. She had watched idly instead of diving into the ring as soon as it was apparent that Gwen was out. She had been mesmerized at the sight of her partner fading and twitching into unconsciousness. Her guilt, she realized, owed more to lust than remorse. She desperately wanted Domina and Samantha to leave so that she could take care of her partner in private. She said nothing to prolong their stay, glaring at them for reasons that neither Domina or Samantha suspected. It was only when Domina announced the stipulations of their match that the haze over her mind lifted.

"A win by a knockout, no pinfalls, no submissions." Domina glanced at her partner who was nodding smug-faced in satisfaction.

Kriss was satisfied too. She pictured each woman laying helpless in the ring. She even fantasized briefly about herself being vulnerable before her thoughts turned her on to something else.
