Description
From Season 1, Episode 2, Wonder Woman Meets Baroness Von GuntherSequence 1 in 4 parts is WW going glassy-eyed after being gassed. Sequence 2 in 4 parts is WW laying unconscious on the floor.
Notes: The source material is 1080p from Vudu, the best quality I have seen. The tv series was originally formatted and offered in HD a number of years in the halcyon days of the Xbox 360. The quality of the Vudu stream, which was only very recently added, seems superior to that still offered by Microsoft. Whether the HD is either case is truly HD, as opposed to original/archival material being upscaled, is unknown to me. I suspect it has not been properly remastered (say, by scanning) since it has been reformatted to 16:9. If the bitrate is kept high enough, a standard def source can be made to look decent when upscaled.
At the moment you can grab all three seasons of WW in HD for $25 @ Vudu. I still have my dvd box set from its original release, but to my knowledge, no blu-ray edition of the series has sadly been released.
Scenes of peril in the 70s tv series were actually quite few. I don't recall any sleepy peril from the third and final season. What really made the peril in WW so memorable is that the camera crew had an eye for good angles and the editors usually avoided quick cut-aways. As I rewatch the series, I plan to share screen captures of those memorable moments.

I have never been able to figure out why they haven't released this series in blu-ray. Seems like a no brainer. Maybe they will now that the new (and sadly disappointing) wonder woman movie is out, Thanks for posting the images.

I agree. It definitely seems like a no-brainer. I was doing some research on WW in HD. According to Wikipedia entry on the tv series, it was remastered and reformatted in HD, but they gave no source. I couldn't find anything anywhere else about the source/mastering of the digital version. It's very possible that the source material could be scanned. It's also possible that it was just upscaled. I did find that premiere episode of the series is on Blu-ray as part of the bonus material on Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths. I'm going to look into that very soon.
