Description
Inugami are dangerous shikigami type spirits that have a gruesome way of being brought into existence. A dog would be buried up to its neck in the ground (or possibly just restrained? hmm) with food placed around its head, but just out of reach. The dog's head would be sawed off after a few days when its hunger reached its peak. The vengeful spirit ideally would have been appeased with the food offerings, but sometimes the Inugami will haunt the one responsible for its terrible death.

I was thinking of an Inugami form for my yet unnamed character, but my mind kept lingering on something heavily influenced by Persona's Inugami (arrgh!). So! This is most likely not the form I'll use for my own character, but this was fun to paint c:
