Okay, so there's this fic on Tumblr titled Fortress that is brutal, I mean, brutal, people. I don't use that word lightly. If any of you actually read my fanfiction over at fanfiction.net you know I take on some heart breaking, grim stuff. Well, my newest buddy on Tumblr, Nicecentrifuge, (she's on here as CaptainPunchYouHard, lol, captainpunchyouhard.deviantart… ) but she has written this incredibly dark, twisted, psychologically layered fic titled,

Be warned it is rated NC-17 for scenes of rape, torture, death, dubcon and really messed up situations. So, do not read it if you don't want to experience the guys going through a nightmare and trying to make it out with some of themselves intact.
How far would you go to survive - What would you be willing to compromise to keep your family safe - How far over the line of integrity can you go before you've lost what you were in the first place? How can you heal when the pain doesn't even hurt anymore?

привет я прочитала крепость. история тяжелая. жестокая. Но она интересная. особенно последние слова " его сердце не крепость" Братья пережили настоящий ад . но все там была любовь и надежда. Раф был любим и любил. Майки был влюблен или все же верил что его любили. Жалко лео он пережил ад. А дон чуть не сошел с ума . хотел взорвать крепость и почти убил шредора. У меня ощущение что пережила ночной кошмар. Сон ушел. но остался осадок горечи.

Loved it, too. Some things I didn't agree with at the very end - in particular what happened between Raph and Don - just because within the context of the story, after what they'd gone through, after learning exactly how Don felt - I think that Raph would never, really, none of them, would never ever even consider doing something like that to one another. But overall, I thought it was extremely well-written and thought-provoking and stunning.

My only complaint with this image is that if that's Xever in the background, shouldn't his skin be slightly darker

Since I suck at shading, coloring, etc., I was afraid of messing him up, so it is simply implied by the fact that we know who Xever is. I think I did his hair pretty good, though.

I read the fic and I swear I have a problem. I was incredibly upset that pt 3 was not out yet. Like, this fic is a new obsession. And this picture captures this scene perfectly

Oh, I know. I'm so obsessed too. It's just such a nightmare that all of them are living through. A complete and utter horror show. I can't believe this story. I think the writer needs all the support she can get because this is really bold and deep. Powerful and poignant. None of them wanted to end up where they're at - and it comes down to survival. And all I can think of is all the people living through similar situations where sex trafficking runs amok and there's just NO HOPE.
It's an amazing story. I'm so humbled by her talent and am happy to offer my picture up to represent that terrible scene where he is afraid, not for the first time, but afraid of what he's becoming, of what he's choosing, the terrible danger he just put his brother in, the self loathing and despair. Oh I could go on and on.

Omg I know. I keep hoping and saying to myself, "Dont worry guys, I'm sure it'll get better"
but I never know for sure and this story is just so awesome, I cant even explain it. I was
really upset though, like crying, when I saw that she had post 3 days after I read prt 2 and
I just cannot wait til her 3rd part, she is just a phenomenal writer.
