Wah, you make me feel a bit better saying that! Thank you so much! Seriously. I'll see if I can do something with it to unhide it my gallery.

Oh, my. That is stunning Betti.
The heavens did open up.
Wow. Love the silhouette of the scrub, a lovely contrast to the clouds.
It doesn't belong in the scraps!

So, I said I've never been as happy with any of my photos as I was with the accidental one - and I've hardly been as disappointed as with these! I made a tons about this, the storm was following the train. It was almost surreal.
I have problem with the noise. Always the noise.

Shouldn't have noise with ISO 80. I'll ask my son, he knows a lot about this kind of stuff.
But that opening in the cloud, wow. Sounds like an exciting train trip. Love the storms.

Yes, exactly, ISO 80 and this noise. You should see my ISO 400 pics that I took at night once. Owwww. Forgot to adjust the settings.
It was an interesting train trip for sure. The storm came after us! There was so much to watch; this part of the country is very flat and there was nothing in the way of sky.
I though about taking a photo of the inside of the train. Could've started a revolution in the "horror and macabre" section for sure.

I asked my son Scott about the noise issue. He looked up your camera on the internet and said there isn't much you can do with the camera. In photoshop there is a noise filter, not sure how good that is. Scott said that there is a program called Noise Ninja which is quite good.
Sounds like the train trip was exciting watching the storm! I thought maybe Hungarians would be more sophisticated than Aussies. Gday mate! dressed in board shorts, tshirt and thongs. No class at all.

Thanks to Scott for checking! (I should take a tour in his gallery soon, btw!) I thought it was the not very good lens. I always try the noise reduction filter, with not much success. And I've heard about Noise Ninja, I'll check it!

No problem Betti. Its the quality of your sensor, not the lens.
