His heart pounded like the thunder in the distance. How could she have done that? How could she have done what she did? She knew she wasn't strong enough but why, why would she still risk her health for him. He could have handled those men that attacked. In fact he did. Why was she so stubborn? So childish? His eyes were full of rage but, he kept his cool.

They told her to not get in the way buy she chose too and now she could be gone. His mind raced with thousands of questions as he cleared over the hill, His heart started to throb in pain when he saw the rest of his team, standing by the limp body. It took everything of his willpower not to rage into the monster he is. Would it be from anger or a broken heart. He couldn't bare the idea of losing someone else. His teeth clamped together as he thought back to their fist encounter years ago. She was so helpless and lost, looking for that something no, someone to show her appreciation, admiration. He wanted to be that someone. Did he really just think that? He couldn't help it.

The world went silent when his eyes locked onto her and his heart nearly came out of his throat when he saw her stir. Karin was already way ahead of them all, she was pulling back her sleeve, reading to heal her, give her life again. Sasuke looked up at Jugo, his eyes seemed to be filled with some sort of emotion that was a mix of his usual coldness but, also relief for the girl.

She then looked up at him, her eyes had him under lock and keep. Yes, those eyes...they were to beautiful for him too never see again. They were vibrant despite her not being as alive as they were. His emotions melted away when he saw her soft pink lips, pull into a tired smile, welcoming him back to her.

"You're an idiot..." Karin turned the girl to face her arm, making her latch to it. Her healing began.
