Remember ReBoot? THE first 3D cartoon, way back in the 90's. Badly animated by modern standards, but way ahead of its time. My fav character from that show was Hexadecimal. One hell of a sexy virus. But also totally bonkers. "Queen of Chaos"indeed.Anyway, my tribute to Hex, portrayed as a Goddess.

Ahh Reboot such a classic... it was done a grave insult with Guardian Code.

that's because the guy who made "Guardian Code" told his writers not to reference/watch the original series (threw in a cameo episode and actually went so far as to insult its fanbase);
and the absolute truth is, Guardian Code isn't ReBoot, intentionally. It is a re-skin of another show he made that fell under the radar and he couldn't get a greenlight to make a live version of it, so instead went after the name recognition of a more popular series.
That is, his creation was "MP4orce"
yeah, check out that show and then compare to Guardian Code; aside from adding Code Lyoko aspects its the same thing, even down to character designs and how the internet world is depicted.

I was in no way trust me endorsing Guardian Code or MP4orce, they are both bad regardless. This guy dragged down a good property to try and uplift his failed project.

yeah, but he did do so in an era where anyone curious could look up the old show, watch it, and learn everything about it. Not like a 1990's series re-doing a 1970's series. or Power Rangers chopping up a Japanese show in pre-internet culture days and getting that grandfathered in.
What I found the funniest is his own previous series was so far under the radar that everyone who saw Guardians Code compared it to Code Lyoko and took some digging on him personally by bloggers to realize he was actually remaking some show he made before.
on the aging fanbase, well this is an era where they think to turn Banana Splits and Fantasy island into horror movies so...who knows what some people think of older properties.
