Another one of the movie characters I'm doing.Alien might be my favourite scifi movie and Ellen Ripley is the ultimate female hero for me. Sigourney Weaver is so cool as Ripley.
When I shaved my head a few years back I did it because I admired Sigourney's look in Alien 3. I even thought of doing bald Ripley from Alien 3 here, but since the first Alien movie is my favourite of the series I did Ripley from the first movie. Back then Ripley was still winning.

Me too. I considered doing the bald Ripley here but decided to do Ripley from the first movie since that is my favourite Alien movie.

I was a little surprised how she wasn't really recognizable before I added the shadows to her face. When I showed it to my friend he couldn't tell who it was. It's strange how small things can make a difference.
