Thanks I don't ship them either (I prefer to ship all kinds, shapes and forms of of GerNor XD) but I had a lot of fun drawing them.
Monaco wears her signature outfit, while Norway wears his special uniform from "Artestella". I just love that art book, the best source of APH ideas ever ^_^

Well, when I read that they founded mutual "Friendship Societies" in 1980s I just said to myself: this is so cute, I must ship them! Even if there are many other friendship societies around, I can imagine APH Norway and APH Germany being so awkward that, at a certain point, he pulls out a book from his pocket and reads aloud: "How to make friends for Germans: ask the person you want to be friend with if they want to make a Friendship Society with you. If they accept it, then found your Friendship society and stay there until you finally become friends by doing friendly things". It would be adorable ^////^

GerIta... don't get me started with how mush I dislike GerIta! I am so happy to find someone else who doesn't like it *_*

UsUk is very indifferent to me, RoChu is historically incorrect (China distanced itself from the USSR, so I can't see them as lovers. Also, Communism is but a very small part of China's thousands of years of history, culture, arts and foreign relations...).

Taiwan x Japan is a very controversial couple, so I understand that you don't like it. Personally, I ship her with Macau.

AusHun... more a compromise than a happy marriage, I'd say. A divorce, I'd say: it is not like Austria created the double monarchy to show how much they loved Hungary, it was only to prevent (delay?) the shattering of the Empire, granting more autonomy to Hungary because to its nationalistic outbreaks. Also, it happened in a very delicate time of history, when Italy was fighting against Austria driven by nationalism and with the support of pan-Germanist Prussia, so I think it is a very bitter-sweet pairing and, although I used to like it, I don't ship it actively (I don't draw it).

PruHun falls in my "don't ship childhood friends" rule. I think it is an overrated cliché.
I understand that it fits in a certain perspective of love, because in many cultures a couple is functional to the society, not to romance, for example, in Asia it is common adopting the bride-to-be for her to grow up with her future husband and develop a brother-sister relation for the sake of the family instead of a romantic love that isolates them from the community, but we don't do it in the West, we weren't doing it when marriages were a political/economic agreement, because our religious and cultural beliefs are different.
Personally, I think that when you truly consider someone as a brother or sister you cannot even imagine to kiss them, and the idea to married them does probably sound rather gross...

Personally, I don't like how Himaruya portrayed Spain, he should be a completely different character, much cooler and even darker (we was a great empire, after all! This is why I don't ship him with anyone, even if I have seen some cool SpUk artworks, so maybe I kinds ship SpUk

YAAAAY ! You don't ship GerIta too :3 Yes, Rochu is historically incorret, i agree with you. In 1874 Japan invades Taiwan and more times i see. Yes, i ship Taiwan with Macau too n_n I agree in you with all, a lot of couples are historically incorrect, i ship Germancest because they are germans and i think that they have same culture and traditions. My friend ships SuFin,it's her OTP , i think that is historically incorrect, in Sweden wikipedia, Himaruya writes that Sweden was homosexual, it's ok if he likes Finland, but it's not ok if Finland likes Sweden, it's all fanservice for fangirls. Sweden invades (i think) Finland and finish language was forbbiden and finish people must speak in swedish language. Hungary and Prussia are not the best couple i think too, so much fangirls only like couples because they look cute, i know that feeling, because i think so much couples look cute together, but some ships are historically incorrect, like Amepan .>. Maybe a lot of empires and nations are portrayed so kawaii, not only Spain .<. Yes, Spain maybe a little bit darker was better, maybe in fascist season and renascense, when he was an empire (? I star shipping SpUk too xD

Erik is a nice name (I like it more than Lukas, for personal reasons) and I am very happy that you liked my idea to draw an "unusual" uniform, Artestella is a great source of ideas and inspiration ^_^

Considering how rare (and expensive) the art book is, I am not surprised that and most fans are not familiar with it. I was lucky enough to receive it as an Easter present, so I use it constantly as a source of inspiration and references It is a pleasure sharing the drawings that is inspires to me, so even fans who cannot afford the book can appreciate something from it
