Hooo boy this took awhile.

3X3X5" box, made of Ipe wood, with highlights of maple for the splines, feet and inner drawer. The inner drawer corners are splined vertically with Ipe. The drawer face is some sort of random veneer I found, not sure what it is. I chose it because it somewhat bridged the two colours and covered up the original face, which I screwed up by sanding through at some points and exposing the splines.

Took 10-12 hours total maybe, not including time for glue to dry. I had to redo the drawer once because it was too short to fit business cards. I still have the old one. I like the old one because it's lacewood which has a pretty grain, and it's joined with coffee stir sticks. It just sits on a shelf beside me and holds my two Hot Wheels and my miniature assault rifle. The barrel pokes out like it's fixin to snipe me.
