I was a little inspired recently so I decided to draw a quick tiger.okay well it wasn't that quick, took a couple hours. -.-'

it's easy when you use the grid method haha. :d I always think of that as cheating but I was really inspired to draw something as realistic as possible.

For me when I draw a cat like thing, it looks like a dog, and when I draw a dog it looks like a cat.

cats have defined cheek bones and sleeker bodies,
dog's faces are usually long.
personally I like to draw chickens and chinchillas...on every inch of space I can find.

I just can't get the concept of drawing animals, unless I spend like hours on one picture.

I was having a conversation with my dad this one time and he was saying "yeah, so my plan is to save up some money...and then get a farm out in Pennsylvania and you can visit and have any farm ani-" and I just blurted out "I WANT SOME FUCKING CHICKENS!"
I love the way they cluck so much ;-;
and yeah, I have to study animals before I'm actually able to get it right, I'm not good with any new ones without first using a ref.

I remember once trying to do a really realistic portrait of someone without a reference, I failed. Then I got a reference. haha xD

I'm usually alright with people without references, unless it's myself. I don't know what I look like apparently :I and this friend of mine who has such a great face. I really can't describe it, his face is beautiful and exotic to me, even though I doubt anyone else sees it that way.
