Description
I will upload Sabumon digivolving into him tomorrow Until then enjoy Wulvamon Wulvermon spinning forever
He's still the same digimon, but he needed a name change, because I don't want people mistranslating his name. His name is Wulvermon now (based on similarity and the non-agressive werewolf known as Wulver). Do you guys think changing his name is ok or are you all super fond of his old name? xD
Made with loads of precission, pencil sketches and Adobe Flash CS6.

Haha, yes this is 2D but I dig the illusion of it looking like it's something more (stuff like the lion king hug scene <3)
The thing is that I sketched this 2 years before coloring it, which looked like this sta.sh/0niwfhwqiqk
The rest is inbetweening
The sketching couldn't have taken more than 2 hours I think (it was also kind of redesigning him so his build would make sense to me if he really was in the digimon anime). I think if I worked on it sequentially without getting tired I would've been finished within perhaps 4 days (not counting nights)~

Lol I wouldn't say quite 100 (or was it) and I did use shortcuts wherever possible. Like all the nails are built based on a single toenail and both wings are just 2 flat images changing size and location. But hey it works xD

This is awesome!
I've been working on a digivolve turn for my own Crocutamon and it's amazing how difficult a seemingly simple act of turning a cartoon character in a circle can be. You really need to know how their body works and how to show all those different angles. So this is really impressive and I think you did an awesome job with it

Thanks!
Your digimon looks more detailed than mine, but I think it'd be awesome to see another digivolution on here xD
Not sure if this is helpful for you but these are the original sketches I used for Wulvermon:Β sta.sh/0niwfhwqiqk
Exactly as you said, I had to get the details of his body down first (redesigning yay). Once you got the front, side and back down the rest is just in-betweening (onionskin ftw). I added a fully drawn pencil sketch for each 45 degrees as well, just to guide myself better on the computer xD
